From Denpasar via Sayan
From the Ngurah Rai Bypass go north to Batubulan village until the three-way junction to Mas. Then follow the sign to Ubud, going north for another 20 km. In the village of Sayan, go right at the Pertamina petrol station and follow signs to Ubud.

From Denpasar via Mas
At the three-way junction in Batubulan, turn right and go though the villages of Celuk, (silver- and goldsmiths), and Mas (wood-carving and art shops). After Mas, go left (west) at the three-way junction in Peliatan at the Legong dancer statue. Proceed north through Peliatan and left at the large Arjuna statue onto the main street of Ubud.

From Kintamani via Bedulu
Coming from Kintamani, follow the signs to Ubud or Denpasar, passing Tampaksiring and a series of rural villages with views of rice terraces. In Bedulu, turn right (west) toward Goa Gajah, the Elephant Cave. Follow that road through the village of Peliatan and on to the main street of Ubud.

From Kintamani via Payangan
From Kintamani village, turn right at the sign to Ubud before passing the market. The road is a scenic route through forest and villages until a three-way junction in the village of Payangan. Turn left (south) and proceed to the main street of Ubud where you turn right (west) at the large Arjuna statue in Peliatan.

In Ubud
The Museum Puri Lukisan is on the main street of Ubud, about 300 meters west of the Puri Ubud (palace of Ubud) and the Ubud Market at the intersection of Monkey Forest Road and the main street. A large wooden sign at the high split gate on the north side of the street marks the entrance to the museum parking lot. Just across the street are Betel Nut Café and Casa Luna Restaurant.
